Kfar Hanokdim is only 11 kilometer’s away from the Western entrance to Massada. We host Masada Bar mitzvah in a variety of ways:
As the day breaks, reading the Torah and performing the Masada Bar mitzvah ceremony, followed by a festive reception and lunch at Kfar Hanokdim. The participants then take part the main activity “Following the Fathers` footsteps” .This activity symbolizes a biblical journey, following in the footprints of the fathers of Israel.
Consider starting the festivity a day earlier with a reception at noon. The participants then take part in the activity “Following the Fathers` footsteps” . An evening meal is then provided. Guests spend the night and the following morning at the village. As the day breaks the party ascend Massada to read the Torah and perform the Masada Bar mitzvah ceremony.
The immediate family arrives the day before to relax and spend time around Kfar Hanokdim. The rest of the group joins the following day and together they embark on the Masada Bar mitzvah ceremony on Massada. The festivities will continue at Kfar Hanokdim with lunch and the activity “Following the Fathers` footsteps”.
